here I am in Spain with not a thing to report, other than a horrible trip over on a Ryanair sardine tin with a very big, moody Australian crushing me into the bulkhead.

One thing is, that the attitude towards veganism here on the continent leaves something to be desired. My friends, who are dedicated Vegans (is there such a thing as non-dedicated vegans) specifically asked for a vegan salad followed by a Vegan paella.

Easy enough, you might think...........

The salad came out with Tuna.....So they sent it back only to be presented with lattice, onions and shredded beetroot. The avocados for the salad came 10 minutes later.

Willing to let that one go, my Pals John and Pili, finished this lush repast, waiting for the next dish to come.

The vegetable Paella came and looked really nice. The only thing is, that once the servings had been transferred to the plate, they found a prawn's head and also that the dish had been made with fish stock......

The chef, of course denied everything.
